Dr. Ada Parra and Dr. Justin Craighead are both prosthodontists, specialists with three years additional training in aesthetic tooth restoration, including dental implants, dentures, cosmetic dentistry and full-mouth reconstruction.
Dr. Parra has additionally completed a two-year implant surgical fellowship program at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Craighead is also a periodontist, a specialist in dental implant surgery, gum and jawbone treatment and replacement. He is one of a handful of dual specialists worldwide. He lectures on dental implant surgery, bone grafting and advanced prosthodontics.

We’ll scan your mouth and jaw with our dental 3D scanner, take digital X-rays and digital impressions which we use to make study models. The 3D scanner captures 360º, 3D images of the patient’s teeth, jawbone, sinuses and surrounding oral structures.
The doctors plan the surgery in detail using special 3D implant
software. They can map out the entire treatment beforehand,
including the exact placement of each implant so that the implants are stably placed and the final teeth are correctly situated for optimum function.
The doctors use the 3D software to generate a surgical guide to ensure precision placement during surgery.
Because the doctors plan the surgery ahead of time, the actual surgery is efficient and doesn’t require extra cutting to explore where to put the implants. The implants are placed in their correct position right away using the surgical guide.
In one visit, the doctors do any needed extractions, place the implants and attach aesthetic provisional teeth that have been custom-made for you. They place four implants in each arch, although sometimes five or six if they think extra security is needed. They use long, angled implants when there is insufficient bone to help avoid bone grafting.
It takes about six to ten weeks for the soft tissue to heal and the implants to fully integrate. To speed healing and reduce postsurgical inflammation, the doctors apply growth factors to the implant site.
Meanwhile, the doctors like their patients to test the fit of the provisional teeth to make sure they are comfortable and stable. This ensures no problems or breakage of the final teeth.
For their final teeth, patients have a choice of metal-reinforced acrylic or ceramic or zirconia teeth, which are stronger, less prone to breakage and more aesthetically pleasing.
We make sure you are comfortable before, during and after your full-arch treatment. During the procedure you can get IV or oral sedation, which puts you into a light dozing state and keeps you comfortable. We also have treatment chairs with heat and massage, and can provide you with blankets and pillow.

An economical option for full-teeth replacement, Snap-in Dentures increase chewing power to 50 to 80 percent or more, depending on the number of implants placed. Traditional dentures typically only have around 20 percent chewing power and constantly lose their fit, causing slippage and pain.
